Energy Saver turns your device off after a period of inactivity, reducing its ability to upload transactions and receive updates. Energy Saver should only be used if required by law in your location.
If your meter is connected with a SmartLink™ device or has built-in connectivity, you can receive automated emails when its ink level is low, its funds are low, or it experiences an error .
Tap SendPro Apps on the Home screen to access to a variety of apps that support your device.
As well as printing postage, your device uses other ways to print and feed mail. Tap Print Mode in the Print on Envelopes app to see the available options.
Your SendPro device allows you to add a custom text message to your mail.
The default preset timer will reset your device to your most commonly-used settings.

First-Class Mail is an economical way to send mailpieces through the USPS.
You can either create a shipping label or print postage on an envelope.
Purchase a Certificate of Mailing when you need to have proof that you sent a letter or package.
Use this process if you need to send mail from the United States to a different country.
Use Electronic Return Receipt (ERR) if you need evidence of delivery, along with information about the recipient's actual delivery address.
Create presets to store a group of commonly-used settings. Presets can store settings such as a postage class, an account and a graphic
Use Create Shipping Labels to get the best pricing, free tracking, and detailed delivery history for USPS package services. You can also send via UPS® or FedEx®.
You can use USPS Ground Advantage™ service to send packages up to 70 lbs in 2-5 business days on the SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+ and SendPro C Auto.
Certified Mail is a USPS service that provides you with proof of mailing by sending you a receipt once your mailpiece arrives at its destination.

Errors & Troubleshooting

Check your connections and reboot the device to resolve this issue. The errors BA00 or BA05 appear because the base is disconnected from the tablet.
A installation did not complete on your SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+, SendPro C Auto. You may be able to clear the error by updating and restarting your device.
Resolving error 1870 on the SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+, SendPro C Auto
If you see one of these error codes or messages, you may have a network connection issue or you may need to connect to Pitney Bowes.
Perform a balance inquiry, restart your device and check for software updates to resolve error VR04.
Restarting your device then refilling the postage can often resolve the mailing has stopped or CSD-Mailing Prod has stopped errors.
Reboot the device if the "Shared services has stopped working" message appears.

If your device is displaying error 507 or Access Denied, reboot the device to resolve the error.

If errors RA00, RA01, RA02, RA000, RA09 , DL00, DL01 or the message Loading Current Rate and Device Information appear and the device will not print, update your postage balance, reboot your device, and download any software updates.
Reboot the device, connect a network cable and remove the Static IP address if the message "Please unplug the network cable first" appears.
If you are seeing the message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object," reboot your device.
Reboot your device if error 0112 appears.
Some transactions failed to sync on your SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+, SendPro C Auto. You may be able to clear the error by restarting your meter and synchronizing transactions.
If you see the message “We can't let you in. It looks like your account has been cancelled.”, you will need to contact support.
Reboot your device if error 51 appears.
Contact Pitney Bowes if error 1827 appears.
If error 1805 appears and the device will not refill funds or sync data, reboot your device and sync the data again.
Restart the device, complete the installation process and manually download rates and updates to resolve error BA06.

Set up a FedEx account in SendPro Online or PitneyShip if the FedEx button is missing from the Create Shipping Labels app.

Select an available class or download rate files if the Class Required message appears.
If the message, "Inspection Due" or "Pending PerformAudit" appears on your device, it means it has not connected to the post office for its required inspection.
If you see the message "Sync your data," it may mean that your system has been offline and has not uploaded your envelope printing transactions recently. It could also mean that you are experiencing connection issues.
Check the default label size, connect the label printer USB cable to a different USB port, reboot the device and ensure the labels are loaded correctly if you are unable to print shipping labels.

Maintenance

If you receive a message that your ink waste pad is almost full, follow these steps to change the pad.
Clean the moistener brush and wick if the moistener tank is full and your envelopes are not sealing properly.
Your device will need refills of E-Z Seal® in order to seal envelopes.
You can make a test print to check the quality of the postage printed on an envelope or tape strip.

Use Seal Only mode to seal envelopes without printing anything.
Prevent sealing issues by having adequate sealant in the moistener tank, placing the envelope correctly on the feed deck, and maintaining the wick or brush in the moistener.
You can seal envelopes and print postage at the same time with your SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+.
Refilling Postage
Restarting your device then refilling the postage can often resolve the mailing has stopped or CSD-Mailing Prod has stopped errors.
Add funds to your Reserve or Purchase Power account to resolve the "General Authorization Failure" message.

The device may not have an internet connection, or you may need to upload postage transactions if you cannot refill your Print on Envelopes postage.
If you are unable to refill postage for Print on Envelopes funds during the initial installation, try rebooting your device.

Check your funds for printing postage on your device at any time.
View the Shipment report to see how much postage you are spending. The report includes a list of all the shipping labels you have printed along with their carriers and the amounts of postage.
Add or refill postage for your Print on Envelopes balance as soon as you receive a message that your funds are getting low.
You can apply to the USPS for a refund if your mail is damaged or incorrectly printed.
Use the Print Refill Receipt app to view receipts of previous postage refills
Arrange to have your device alert you when a shipping label postage refill is pending.
Print a funds report if you need a report showing the total number of mailpieces sent.
Set the low funds warning to warn you when your available funds for printing postage reaches a certain amount. Use this warning as a reminder to add more postage to your device.
You can view a report showing all your past postage refills.
Change the default refill amount to store an amount you want to refill your device with.
You can view receipts for all the times when you have refilled postage for your Print on Envelopes account.
Your device automatically uploads your postage printing transactions at least once during the day and once after hours.
Refill your postage funds for shipping labels as soon as you receive a message that your funds are low.
SendPro C devices have separate accounts for shipping and mailing. You must fund shipping label printing and envelope printing functions separately.
Rate Change
A installation did not complete on your SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+, SendPro C Auto. You may be able to clear the error by updating and restarting your device.
The new USPS Ground Advantage™ new service combines the services formerly known as USPS Retail Ground®, First-Class Package®, and Parcel Select Ground® on the SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+ and SendPro C Auto.
You can check to see if you have downloaded the latest rates for each postal class on your device.
Visit the Confirm your meter update page to ensure your device has the latest postage rates.
Confirm your USPS rates, to ensure that you print accurate postage.
Reporting, History & Accounting
If you cannot find your account when running mail or a report, ensure you search using the case the account was entered in.
Set the reporting period of an account report by setting its start and end dates.
Set the account report preferences to select the account level you wish to report on (Account, Sub account or Sub sub account).
You can add a Print on Envelopes account to track your costs for printing postage on envelopes. This is different from your PB account which is used to fund your postage and shipping labels costs.
Email an account report to keep a record of how much departments or clients have spent on their postage over specific time periods.
You can use the accounting feature to track the postage that departments or individuals within your organization use.
You can protect each account from unauthorized access by turning account passwords on.
Edit an account when you want to change the account name, code, description, status or password.
When accounting is enabled on your device, you must select an account before you can print postage.
You can delete an account, sub account, or sub sub account through the Print on Envelopes app.
Setting the account status to inactive prevents anyone from charging postage against it.
Run account reports to show how you spent your postage for a specific account or for all accounts over various time periods.
Cost Accounts help you keep track of where you’re spending your money on postage by allowing you to assign shipping label costs.
If your postage accounting reports are blank, check that the reporting period is correct, and that you have a good network connection on your SendPro C Lite, SendPro C, SendPro+ and SendPro C Auto.
You can view and print a report of the shipping labels you have created on your device using the Shipping History app.
You can view and print all the USPS shipping label refunds you have requested on your device.
View the Shipment report to see how much postage you are spending. The report includes a list of all the shipping labels you have printed along with their carriers and the amounts of postage.
