Flashing red light on the PB-SP100 (1E47, 1E48, 1E51, or 1E53) label printer

Learn how to resolve a flashing red light on the PB-SP100 (1E47, 1E48, 1E51, or 1E53) label printer.

Products affected: PB-SP100, 1E47, 1E48, 1E51, or 1E53 label printer, SendPro® C Lite, SendPro® C, SendPro®+, SendPro® C Auto (8H00, 9H00), PitneyShip™, PitneyShip™ Pro

Issue

The left LED on the printer's cover is solid red and the right LED is either off, flashing red, solid orange or flashing orange.

Cause

Several different issues can cause the red light to flash.

Resolution

Solution 1: Firmly push down on each front corner of the cover to ensure that the cover is tightly closed.

If the issue is not resolved, try solution 2.

Solution 2: Ensure that you are using the correct roll

The correct roll for the PB SP-100, 1E42, 1E47, 1E48, or 1E51 label printer is 6WB-F.

If the issue is not resolved, try solution 3.

Solution 3: Reinstall the paper roll
