News Banner Component
The News Banner component allows to display important news or temporary information on a page. This component is typically placed at the top of a page, making it one of the first things that visitors see when they land on our site. The banner component comes with two settings: with or without expansion.

Summary Text
- Enter text for bolded initial section of Summary Text.
- It is optional.
Summary Main Text
- Enter the main text for the summary.
- Shown after the Summary Text portion.
Link
- If we need to hyperlink the summary text and summary main text we can put a URL in this field.
- If a link is provided, it disabled the expand functionality and the Content field will be ignored.
Content
- Enter the main body text of the expanded news banner.
Element ID
- It is optional.
- We can add an ID to the component to allow #hash linking to this section.
UI & Styles
Yes or No styles
- Top Gap ?
- This adds a gap to the top of the component separating it from the top of the page or a prior component.
- No Gap ?
- This removes the bottom margin separating modules.
Note:
- We can not change the background color of this component.
Examples
Example 1 - With Expansion
With expansion, authors have the option to add more information and a link related to the news or temporary information being displayed. This allows visitors to further explore the topic if they are interested.
Example 2 - Without Expansion
Without expansion, authors only have the option to highlight a specific link that takes visitors to a designated page for more information. This setting is useful when the news or temporary information does not require additional context or detail.
