SendPro Enterprise version 8.57.0 Release Notes (December 22, 2023)

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

Headline Enhancements

The following headline enhancements have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

New Carrier. Deliver-It

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

A new carrier, Deliver-It, has been added to SendPro Enterprise.

New Carrier. Door Dash

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

A new carrier, Door Dash, has been added to SendPro Enterprise.

Other Changes

The following other changes have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

Purloator. Issue with Consignee Phone.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue when shipping with Purolator Carrier using the Desktop Shipping App. Desktop Shipping App has been modified to ensure the Packages/Package/ReceiverPhone element is mapped properly in the Rate Shop Request.

Task. Bulk Tracking.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue when shipping with SaaS Transportation carriers. SaaS Transportation support in the Bulk Tracking scheduled task has been added.

HazMat. Shipping NA1350.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue when shipping NA1350 for HazMat/Dangerous Goods. Items beginning with NA will no longer be prefixed with 'UN'.

Zero-Rate Carrier Failing.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

Addressed an issue for shippers using Zero-Rated Custom Carriers. When shipping with these carriers, HazMat would cause the shipment to fail to execute. A new column, “HazardousEnabled”, has been added to the Custom Carrier Services table and exposed in the Carrier Services view. This reinstates the ability to process hazardous shipments using custom carriers.

Any services configured for custom carriers that are to be used for hazardous shipments will need to be flagged as hazardous in the Admin App.

UPS API. Unit of Measure.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue when shipping with UPS API for HazMat/Dangerous Goods. When selecting Fluid oz as UOM, the carrier request will now send FL OZ.

UPS API. High-Value Report.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue when shipping with UPS API and the High-Value Report is configured as ActiveReports/Client. The report would print when not expected. It will no longer be sent to the printer when not required.

PB Shipping API - USPS. Delivery Confirmation - No Signature.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

A change has been made to the PB Shipping API - USPS connector to automatically add the 'Delivery Confirmation - No Signature' special service to qualifying Ground Advantage service shipments when rating and shipping.

Third-Party Duties & Taxes Billing

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

When shipping internationally and using 'Duties Bill To' 3rd Party, the 3rd Party’s account number will now be sent to UPS. When specifying a 3rd Party 'Payer Type', an account number will always be provided even if it is empty. Currently, UPS requires that a 3rd party account number be provided if specified, SendPro Enterprise will now respond with an appropriate error message for the shipper.

Multipack Shipment Failures

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue where Multipack shipments would fail and no error message would be presented to the user. Upon upgrade of the instance and the shipping app, the user will see an error message when a package in the multipack does not meet the specifications of the selected service. SendPro Enterprise will now combine the successful package rates and show the shipment as partially successful for rating.

Shipment Transaction Export. Failure.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The SQL Query has been modified to minimize SQL execution time for Shipment Transaction exports thereby substantially reducing the chance of timing out.
