SendPro Enterprise version 8.56.2 Release Notes (November 20, 2023)

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

Other Changes

The following other changes have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

SendPro Enterprise. Verbose Messages

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue whereby the system presented verbose error messages. A change was made to the class library to prevent verbose errors from being output.

DHL. Alternate Billing.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue with DHL that caused shipments to fail when 'Bill To' and 'Bill Recipient' were used for international shipments.

CandaPost. Deliver to Post Office.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue where the option to use Deliver to Post Office was not working properly. The following update has been made to the Canada Post Special Services:

• Drop At Carrier Facility: Is removed.
• Carrier Drop Facility Identifier: Remains, but its use case changed.
• Deliver To Carrier Facility Identifier: Added"

USPS. Payer and Sender Types.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Corrected an issue that prevented users from shipping with the USPS. Changes have been made to address USPS restrictions regarding Sender and Payer types in the calls to the carrier.

Apps. Corrected Misspelling.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed a spelling issue in the Mail Center App and Warehouse App where UK English was used rather than US English.

Shipments. 3rd Party Billing.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue where under certain circumstances the system was retrieving the wrong address for 3rd Party Billing shipments.

UPS API. ChargeGroupType.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue where the 'ChargeGroupType' order changed, causing errors for a limited number of clients implementing custom rates. 'ChargeGroupType' is now structured to be presented in proper order: 1, 2, 3, 4.

Data Management App. Not Exporting FedEx Tracking Numbers.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Shipment Tracking Number is now saved for FedEx Web Services when shipping multi-pack:

• The 'Shipment Tracking Number' will be available when exporting 'Shipment' and 'Shipment Transaction'
• The 'Shipment Tracking Number' will be sent to the DataLake as part of extracting package details

Purolator. Unable to Bill 3rd Party.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Addressed an issue where the shipper is not able to Bill Receiver and 3rd Party when shipping using the Purolator API carrier.

The following changes have been made to the Purolator API connector:

• When processing a Ship Request
• Rate Request will only be made when the Payer type is Sender.
• All other Payer types will return $0.00 charges
• Payer type Consignee is now mapped to Purolator Payor type Receiver

Note: Purolator API documentation explicitly states 'Billing Shipments to Receiver is not allowed'

CanadaPost. Province of Origin.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Changes have been made to allow for the mandatory Province-of-Origin to be sent in the carrier request for international shipments.

The following apps now have the Original Region column added to the contents line items table:

• Desktop Shipping v1.40
• MailCenter v1.65
• Warehouse v1.71

UPS World Ease. Return Single Label.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved an issue where the setting 'UPS World Ease Return Single Label' was returning all the associated labels rather than just the desired label.
