SendPro Enterprise version 8.48.0 Release Notes (January 6, 2022)

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

Headline Enhancements

The following headline enhancements have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

SendPro Enterprise. Added Business Rules Engine feature.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

Added new feature that enables customers to configure a series of business rules via a third party website to optimize shipping.

MailCenter App. Certified Mail App.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

Added support for Simple Search functionality in the Address Book. Added support for the Simple Search setting to be configurable for the MailCenter and Certified Mail Apps.

SendPro Enterprise. Updates to Stamp functionality.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The following improvements have been implemented to improve stamps functionality:

• Updated Pierbridge Stamps Request to include six additional reference fields.
• Additional reference fields added to the Cost Center Chargeback and Shipment Transaction Data Management Exports.
• Added reference fields to Cost Center Chargeback Report.

Carrier Changes

The following carrier changes have been implemented for SendPro Enterprise:

SendPro Enterprise. Improvements when shipping with SPE Freight and Saas Transportation.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The following improvements have been made:

• Amended the SaaS Transportation and clones URL from
  https://restapiv2.tmssaas.com/ShipmentLiteService/
  to
  https://restapiv4.tmssaas.com/ShipmentLiteService/
• Improvements to minor logging/error handling
• Updated Warehouse and MailCenter Apps to allow direct shipping when carrier selected for SPE Freight
• Added ability to choose which carrier to ship or rate with via SaaS Transportation

Other Changes

The following other changes have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

Cargowise One Integration. Improvements to cargo shipping.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved issue whereby if a CargoWise One eTail shipment has no parent shipment, as identified by a ForwardingShipment data source, it will fail to upload. Now, when there is no ForwardingShipment data source, the HVLVConsignment data source will be used as the shipment identifier, if available.

Shipping Apps. Improvements to the logic between Ship Requests and Rateshop Requests.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Improved logic when a Ship Request is transformed into a Rate Shop request whereby the CustomRateEngineKey1 (and 2 and 3) elements will now be passed to the Rate Shop Request if present in the Ship Request.

Resolved issue with Reports and Data Management Exports failing to include Carrier Service name.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved issues whereby the carrier service name failed to populate when processing shipments via the Batch Meter App. In addition, fixed issue with the same data not populating in the Cost Center Chargeback Report and Export.

Reports. Resolved issue with Carrier Activity report filtering.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Carrier Activity report now filters by date.

Stamps App. Fixed issue with incorrect stamp image preview display.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The stamps preview image now displays the correct image to correspond with the stamp type.

Returns. Fixed issue with PB Standard shipments.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Return shipments with PB Standard now function as expected.

Personal Shipping. Resolved issues with address display.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved issue whereby the full Ship Address would not display in Personal Shipping History when all three address fields are populated. This has now been resolved.

SendPro Enterprise. Added logic to avoid calls to IdP when creating a User.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Added logic to ensure that a user cannot be created in the IdP without being created in SendPro Enterprise.
