SendPro Enterprise version 8.46.0 Release Notes (November 4, 2021)

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

Note: Though released and available, due to end-of-year customer shipping volumes, only new instances and those marked for Early Adoption will be automatically upgraded to 8.46.0 in 2021. All remaining instances will be automatically upgraded in maintenance windows over the first few weeks of January 2022. Customers in need of upgrading their instance to resolve specific issues addressed in this release are directed to chat with us for upgrade planning and scheduling.

Headline Enhancements

The following headline enhancements have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

SendPro Enterprise. Added XML transaction: Pierbridge Shipment Detail Query. The XML transaction:

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Pierbridge Shipment Detail Query supports searching for shipments using any one of the following criteria (specified in the SearchByField and SearchByValue elements):

• ShipmentID
• ShipmentDate
• SalesOrderNumber
• PurchaseOrderNumber
• OrderNumber
• ShipperReference

Note: The results can be paged by specifying the page size (max 1000) and page number to return. In addition, the response can optionally include default, list and/or custom rates (by specifying IncludeDefaultRates, IncludeListRates and/or IncludeCustomRates).

SendPro Enterprise. Added support for embedded videos from YouTube.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Videos coming from the website YouTube.com can now be embedded and played in SendPro Enterprise.

SendPro Enterprise. Deprecated support for Deliv Same Day App.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

SendPro Enterprise has deprecated support for the Deliv Same Day App.

SendPro Enterprise. Various improvements to App Load Performance.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Implemented the following in line with improvements to App Load Performance:

• Snippet Specific libraries now called only when required
• Snippet Data not required on load called when required
• Duplicate Data call amendments

Carrier Changes

The following carrier changes have been implemented for SendPro Enterprise:

PB Standard API. Added new carrier.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

SendPro Enterprise now supports PB Standard API.

Shipping API. Improvements to mappings for VAT on eCommerce (VOEC) and Import One Stop Shop (IOSS) International Defaults.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The international defaults VOEC and IOSS identification types are now mapped to the carrier's new importerCustomsReferenceType field. For example, Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) maps carrier field to IOSS_NUMBER andVat On e-commerce (VOEC) maps carrier field to VAT_NUMBER. Note, the carrier will raise an error if the importerCusomsReferenceType field is set without an identifier being provided in the importerCustomsReference field.

SaaS Transportation. Improvements to shipping functionality.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The SaaS Transportation connector has been amended to allow the user to select which carrier to use for rating/shipping to no longer require a rate shop request to be performed.

PB Shipping API. Updated Production and Staging URIS.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

In line with the carrier's change, the values are now https://shipping-api.pitneybowes.com/ and https://shipping-api-sandbox.pitneybowes.com/.

Redway. Updated carrier endpoint.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

In line with the carrier's change, the Reddaway Rating URI has been updated to point to https://api.reddawayregional.com/api/RateQuote/doRateQuote.

Other Changes

The following other changes have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

MailCenter App. Amended Document Selection popup.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Document Selection popup has been amended to prevent users selecting the Pre-Printed Certified Mail Label when processing bulk list shipments with Electronic Certified or Electronic Return Receipt special services.

View App. Improvements to Data Engine Lookup functionality.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Improved performance when using Data Engine Lookup to query packages through the View App.

Home/Office Working. Improvements to error messaging for voided shipments.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

When attempting to email documents for a shipment that has been entirely voided when in home mode the error message will now read: "You cannot email an item that has been voided".

FedEx Web Services. Resolved issues with missing units of measurements in apps.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved issues whereby the units of measurements: gallons and ounces, were missing from the line item detail when shipping with FedEx Web Services International services. This has now been resolved.

Administration App. Fixed issue with tray display on primary/secondary monitors.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

Fixed an issue where trays would not close correctly when clicking outside of them if the app was being used on a monitor that is not set to be the primary monitor.

USPS. Fixed issue with extra zeroes displaying.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Amended the USPS Shipment Services File generation code to stop the left zero padding of 6 digit Mailer Identifiers in the Header Record.
