Batch processing automation in StreetSweeper Pro
The administrator must have registered their account before an automation account can be created.
Products affected: StreetSweeper® Pro
The administrator must have registered their account before an automation account can be created.
- Download and install StreetSweeper Pro on the computer that will be running in batch mode.
- The administrator must log into the License Manager using their account.
- Select a serial number not in use by the administrator.
Important: The main administrator’s serial number cannot be used as a batch account. - Assign this serial number to the email address of the user that will be using batch mode on their computer. Send an invitation to that user.
Note: For the email, use the + format. For example: [email protected]. The system will attempt to send the email to this address and folder. If the folder does not exist, it will be directed to the inbox. - Once the email is received, the user will need to register and enter their information.
- Open StreetSweeper Pro on the computer that will be running the automation.
Important: The system ID is generated by the computer and is not the StreetSweeper Pro serial number. The system ID must be taken from the login screen of the same computer that will be running batch mode. - Click the ID button in the bottom left to copy the machine ID to the clipboard.
- Log in to the License Manager and select the serial number registered in Step 3 above.
- Check Batch Account.
- Paste the machine ID copied in Step 7 into the INSTALL-ID field and click Submit.
- The Auto Key will be generated. If you press submit again, a different Auto Key will be generated. This Auto Key can now be used to run batch mode on this computer.
- A simple way to create a batch process is to create a .bat file and add the following syntax to this file. Once saved, this file can be executed, and the batch process will run.
Example using the example key shown above:
C:\StreetSweeperPro\StreetSweeperPro.exe" SS-AUTO.PGM \autokey MDAwOF8wRDAyXzAwMjBfRjZEQi58W0JANGJjMjdlOGY= "C:\StreetSweeperPro\Script\AC_ScriptCPP.txt
