Issue

Envelopes are jamming.

Resolution

Follow these steps to clear an envelope jam on your SendPro MailCenter 1000 system.

  1. Lift the feed cover.
    Life the feed cover
  2. Lift the print cover.
    Life the print cover
  3. Pull up on the top release lever.
    Pull the top release lever
  4. Lift up the lower release lever and remove the mailpiece.
    Lift the lower release lever
  5. Close the top release lever.
  6. Lift up the printer transport release lever.
    Lift the printer transport release lever
  7. Make sure the printer deck is clear.
    Check the deck is clear
  8. Push the printer transport release lever down.
  9. Make sure all release levers are down and snapped back into place.
    Check all release levers are in their original position
  10. Close all covers and resume printing.
