How to resolve a blank display on the DM300C, DM400C and more

Issue

The display is blank.

Cause

There is no power coming to the machine or the machine is in sleep mode.

Resolution

If the Power lamp is yellow on the machine is in sleep mode
  • Press Home wake up the machine
If the power lamp is not lit there is no power to the machine
Check that:
  1. Power switch on back is turned on, located at the back, near the power cord
Note: Not all models have a power switch
  1. Power cord is plugged in both mailing machine base and wall outlet
  2. Power cord is not connected to a switched wall outlet, power strip or surge protector
