How to set the normal preset on the DM300C, DM400C, and more

Normal presets are the default conditions on your meter that you define based on your commonly used values, such as postage rates and class. You can adjust the settings according to your needs, such as Domestic Standard, Priority Mail, Parcel Post.

Once you create normal presets, these options are saved and readily available on your meter. The Postal Class setting, in addition to identifying your mail type, helps automate The preset process for future rate updates and changes. 
 

Follow these steps to create a Domestic Standard letter class Normal Preset:

Choose a Class:

1. Select Class
2. Select LetterPost
3. Select Dom Standard
4. Press Enter

1. Press Menu
2. Press Page Down
3. Select Preset Options
4. Select Set Normal Preset
5. Press Yes to confirm the settings

1. When the system returns to the Presets Options screen, press the Home key
2. When the system returns to the Home screen, your normal preset has been updated
