Request a refund of a credit balance on an account
To request a refund for an overpayment or credit balance, sign in to your account and complete a refund request form for Purchase Power or Reserve Accounts. For Lease or Rental refunds you can create a case online.
Line of Credit (Purchase Power)
- Sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal.
- If prompted, select the Your Account business portal, otherwise, you will be directed to your Your Account dashboard.
- Select Postage and click Credit Line Balance.
- Select the Request a Refund link for the required account.
- Note: If your account is in credit, the current balance will be negative.

- Complete the refund form and click Continue.
Deposit Account (Reserve)
- Sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal.
- If prompted, select the Your Account business portal, otherwise, you will be directed to your Your Account dashboard.
- Select the Postage menu and click Prepaid Balance.
- Select the Request a Refund for the required account.
- Note: You can only apply for a refund when there is an available balance for your account.

Lease, rental or supplies account
- Sign in to the Pitney Bowes Your Account online portal.
- If prompted, select the Your Account business portal, otherwise, you will be directed to your Your Account dashboard.
- Select Help Center & Cases and click Help Center.
- Select Bills below the Financials section.
- Select How do I get a refund for a credit on my account?.
- Select the required account type Leaseor Rental.
- Complete the form that appears and click Submit.
Important:
- Refunds can take up to 15 business days to process.
- If further information about your request is required, the representative assigned to your case will contact you via email.
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. Accordingly, in order to activate your Account, the Bank asks that you provide identifying information, including your address and taxpayer identification number.
