Restricting contacts by user role in PitneyShip Enterprise, PitneyTrack Asset, PitneyTrack Inbound, PitneyAnalytics, and the Locker Management Module

If needed, administrators can restrict the visibility of contacts to only certain user roles. This allows you to have different sets of contacts for different groups of users.

If needed, administrators can restrict the visibility of contacts to only certain user roles. This allows you to have different sets of contacts for different groups of users.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

  1. Select Settings > Address Book.
  2. Select Enable Role-Based Contact Access to enable to setting.

  3. Select the contacts you wish to restrict by checking the boxes next to them.
  4. Select Update Access.

  5. Select the roles you wish to have access to the selected contacts. All users with these roles will be able to access the contacts that you currently have selected.

  6. Click OK.
