Enhancements
Carrier Rating Class Standardization
We've standardized the Carrier Service Class names for the Basic and Advanced categories.
Schedule Report UI simplification
The At this time menu will show the local time zone instead of Pacific Standard Time (PST) or Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). All scheduled reports will be delivered via SFTP (Simple File Transfer Protocol) and email based on the selected local time zone.
Spend vs. Carrier invoices
The Shipping Ledger Balance has been added to the Refill Reports for PitneyShip Pro Shipping clients. Key changes include:
Report Name Update: The Meter Balance report is now called Meter & Shipping Balance.
New Columns Added:
- Ledger ID: Unique identifier for each ledger.
- Debit Adjustment (-): Extra amount charged by the carrier after receiving the package.
- Credit Adjustment (+): Extra amount paid to the carrier while printing the label, later refunded by the carrier.
Existing Column Updates:
- Split Refill and Refund into separate columns: Refill and Refund.
- Added Latest Available Balance and Last Transaction Date columns.
- Removed the checkbox for Latest Available Balance.
Balance Refresh Logic: The Meter and Shipping Ledger Balance will refresh:
- Every time a user lands on the report.
- Whenever the calendar date or any global filter is updated.
Shipping Ledger Product Naming: Displayed as PitneyShip followed by the sub-ID.
Expanded Data Coverage: All existing columns will now populate values for the Shipping Ledger as well:
- Locations
- City/State
- Start Funds Available
- Refill
- Refund
- End Funds Available
- Latest Available Balance
- Last Transaction Date
New Filter for Meter & Shipping Balance Report: Added a filter to view Meters and Shipping separately. The selected filter will display transactions accordingly.
