Running a spending comparison report in PitneyAnalytics

You can compare year-over-year or quarter-over-quarter in your Spend Summary reports.

You can compare year over year or quarter over quarter in your Spend Summary reports. Up to four columns can be selected for comparison in these reports. Comparisons can be made across two or three time periods.

Year over year

  1. Select Analytics > Reports. By default, the Sending tab will open and Spend Summary will be selected.
  2. Use the filters to select the data you wish to view.
  3. Click Refresh.
  4. Click Compare, then select Run Year Over Year ....

  5. Select up to four columns to compare.
  6. Select up to three date ranges to compare.
  7. Click Run Report.
  8. Click the Export button to export the report to either a CSV or Excel file.

    If your report contains a large amount of data, it will be processed in the background and you will be notified when you can download it from the Exports tab.

Quarter over quarter

  1. Select Analytics > Reports.
  2. Use the filters to select the data you wish to view.
    Important: The date range must be Current Quarter or Previous Quarter.
  3. Click Refresh.
  4. Click Compare, then select Run Previous Quareter ....

  5. Select up to four columns to compare.
  6. Select up to three date ranges to compare.
  7. Click Run Report.
  8. Click the Export button to export the report to either a CSV or Excel file.

    If your report contains a large amount of data, it will be processed in the background and you will be notified when you can download it from the Exports tab.
