New Features & Enhancements
Push notifications
Users can get real-time shipment status through app notifications. Users must enable notifications in both the app and device settings. Notifications include Shipment Delivered and Shipment Returned notification.
Hazmat shipping changes
The Hazardous Materials checkbox is now hidden when "All Carriers" is selected in the shipping flow. It will only appear when users select USPS. A "Learn More" link has been added under the USPS extra services section, labeled "Hazardous Material," which provides a list of items that can and cannot be shipped.
Enabled LBH option for thick envelopes
These updates relate to the USPS short pay notifications. Previously, users selected a ¾-inch envelope without providing specific dimensions, which often resulted in short pay charges when using USPS Ground Advantage. Now, users can enter the Length, Width, and Height of their shipment, ensuring they receive accurate shipping rates for any service.
FedEx single payer History
These updates allow users to set a default credit card for FedEx shipments, access postage, and shipment records for all credit card transactions, and receive refunds 21 days after submitting their requests.
Payment error message enhancement
Revised payment error messages to be more user-friendly. These revised error messages will clarify the issue and include steps for users to resolve the error.
Low roll pop-up message for PitneyShip Cube
Users will now see a pop-up message about low PitneyShip Cube rolls and a link to purchase more.
