Products affected: PitneyShip®

New Features & Enhancements

History report export record limit

Users can now export a maximum of 50,000 records from the shipment history. If a user attempts to export more than this limit, an alert will appear with the message, “The export size is too large. Please select a smaller date range and try again.”

UPS future dated shipments extended to 60 days

UPS now allows you to schedule shipments up to 60 days in advance. You can view these upcoming shipments on the Shipment History screen. For domestic shipments, the label will not display a date. However, for international shipments, the label will show the purchase date.

Hazardous materials checkbox

Disabled the Contains Hazardous Material checkbox for all carriers on the Create Shipment screen. However, for carriers that support hazardous materials, the checkbox will remain available once the carrier is selected. When users click the Contains Hazardous Material checkbox, they will only see hazardous material special services. If users select USPS and click the Contains Hazardous Material checkbox, a Learn more link will appear. This link will direct users to the USPS website for information on allowed and not allowed hazardous materials.

FedEx Pitney Bowes single payer account

Single-payer is a shipping system in which Pitney Bowes covers all shipping fees to the carrier, eliminating the need to split costs among the sender, recipient, and others. New PitneyShip users who are not on an ecommerce plan can activate a Pitney Bowes single-payer FedEx account on the Carriers screen. Please note that a credit card is required for using single-payer shipping. Additionally, FedEx Manifest and Schedule Pickup services are not available for single-payer accounts.
