PitneyShip Enterprise Release Notes for version 1.91.0 (October 09, 2024).

Products affected: PitneyShip® Enterprise

New Features & Enhancements

New customs section for Official Mailer users

Official Mailer users must include customs information when an Air/Army Post Office (APO), Fleet Post Office (FPO), or Diplomatic Post Office (DPO) address is used as either a Sender or Recipient address when creating a USPS shipping label. Users will not have to include customs information for document only shipping.

Hazardous Material extra services for FedEx and UPS

In the previous release, the hazardous materials checkbox was removed, which prevented users from shipping dry ice or lithium batteries. However, the ability to ship these items has been reinstated. You can now select these options by clicking on Select Rates and Services, choosing your preferred service, and then selecting Dry Ice or Lithium Batteries as extra services.

Proof of delivery (POD) for FedEx and UPS shipments

If a user is shipping using FedEx or UPS and has selected special services that require a signature, they can find a copy of the POD and signature on the shipment history screen.

Read more about Downloading UPS and FedEx proof of delivery (POD) and signature files.

RX2GO carrier

Users can now link their existing RX2GO carrier account for pharmacy shipments. RX2GO allows you to generate shipping labels, presets, and manifests. The labels will be printed on an 8.5" x 11" sheet. RX2GO can only be used for domestic shipments.

FedEx End-user License Agreement (EULA) update

When adding a FedEx carrier account, users will need to read the FedEx EULA in full before accepting the Terms and Conditions.
