PitneyTrack Release Notes version 1.87.0 (August 07, 2024)
New Features & Enhancements
Web browser and Mobile app: Contact and Tracking custom fields
When a custom field is set to ‘Contact and Tracking’, its value will be filled in based on the selected recipient during package receiving workflows (Receive, Edit, Deliver, and Pouch). If the recipient has a contact custom field value, it will automatically fill in the custom field when the recipient is selected. Users can still edit these values if needed. If users edit the automatically filled values, the changes will only be saved with the package details. The recipient’s information in the Address Book won’t be updated. When editing the package again, the last saved values will be retained.
Web browser: Separate activity for each Package History edit
A new activity will be added to the Package History whenever a package is edited and saved. Previously, this only happened if there was a change in Package Status, Package Location, Proof Of Delivery, or Given To User. If a package is edited multiple times without any changes to its information, a new activity with the updated timestamp will be added each time the package is edited.
Web browser: Recipient information in Package History
A Recipient column has been added to the Package History. When a package is saved with a recipient, their information will appear in the ‘Recipient’ column. Any updates or removals of recipient information will also be shown in this column, with a new activity added for each change.
Web browser: Audit log for Carrier and Comments in Package History
An audit log for updates to Carrier and Comments will be kept in the Package History. A new column, Other Changes, will show the audit log information for Carrier and Comment updates for each package. Any changes to Carriers and Comments will be shown in the Other Changes column in the Package Activity. The audit log will also include recipient update information.
Mobile app: Search a Sender via barcode
Mobile app users using their own Android and iOS devices can scan a barcode to automatically fill in the Sender Name in the search field on the receive, edit, and pouch screens.
