Filing a Delivery Assurance Claim in PitneyShip

A Delivery Assurance claim can be filed if your package does not arrive by the guaranteed date.

A Delivery Assurance claim can be filed if your package did not arrive by the guaranteed date. You can submit a claim from 5 days after the first scan until 14 days after the delivery date. Reimbursement is for the base postal amount only; you will not be reimbursed for any extra services.

  1. Select Shipping & Mailing > Shipping & Postage History.
  2. Under Shipments, expand the PitneyShip Delivery Assurance shipment for which you wish to file a claim.
  3. Click File a Claim.
  4. Review the information and select Submit Claim. You are notified immediately whether your claim was approved or rejected.

This procedure only applies to shipments sent using the PitneyShip Delivery Assurance service. For insurance claims on other shipments, see Filing an insurance claim.
