Verifying your UPS account in the PitneyShip mobile app

As of June 3, 2024, UPS is implementing new standards for authorizing accounts. In order to continue shipping with UPS in the PitneyShip mobile app, you will need to update your UPS account on June 3, 2024 to comply with their new authorization system.

You will need to repeat this process every 59 days.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

Before you begin:

• To prepare for the UPS verification process, you will need the username and password for your UPS.com profile, as well as your UPS account numbers (you can find them under More > Shipping Carriers). If you do not have a UPS.com profile, you will need to create one and register your UPS account(s) to it.
• Important: If you have more than one UPS account number, they must all be registered under a single UPS profile (username) in order to comply with these new standards. Visit this FAQ page and perform the required steps on the UPS website. Once you have done so, follow these steps to verify your account in the PitneyShip mobile app.

1. Sign in to the PitneyShip mobile app.
2. Tap More > Shipping Carriers.
3. Tap Verify next to any UPS account. You will be directed to the UPS Log In page.
4. In the UPS Log In window, enter your UPS username.
   Important: If you have more than one UPS account number, they must all be registered under the same UPS username. If you have not yet done so, return to the FAQ page for instructions.
5. Check the box to agree to the conditions.
6. Tap Continue.
7. Enter your UPS password.
8. Tap Log In. Once the verification is complete, you will be returned to the Shipping Carriers page. All of the UPS accounts associated with that UPS username and password will be verified.
