Customizing kiosk timers in Locker Management Module
You can customize four timers on the kiosk. This prevents the kiosk from being stuck on a page after an incomplete session, such as leaving a door open or not logging out.
Locker Access After Pickup
Set a "grace period" for recipients to reopen lockers after picking up packages. This is useful in case a recipient didn't pick up all the items in a locker. The locker can't be reserved for the next delivery until this reopen timer expires
- Click Settings > Kiosk. The General tab will open by default.
- Set the timer to the desired duration (1-15 minutes).
Return to Home After Pickup
Set how long the screen displays the location of the open locker during a pickup. If a recipient doesn't close the door completely, the kiosk will return to the home screen when the timer expires.
- Click Settings > Kiosk. The General tab will open by default.
- Set the timer to the desired duration (1-15 minutes).
Return to Home on Inactivity
Set how long the kiosk screen stays open before returning to the Home page. This is useful when a recipient starts a session and walks away without completing a pickup.
- Click Settings > Kiosk. The General tab will open by default.
- Set the timer to the desired duration (1-15 minutes).
Admin Session Timeout
Set how long the Admin screen stays open before returning to the Home page. The is useful for when a mailroom administrator logs in but doesn't log out.
- Click Settings > Kiosk. The General tab will open by default.
- Set the timer to the desired duration (1-15 minutes).
