"The email and password you entered do not match" message displays when signing in to Your Account

Steps on how to resolve the message The email and password you entered do not match when signging in to Your Account portal.

Issue

When signing in to Your Account the message "The email and password you entered do not match" displays.

Cause 

The password and email combination you have entered to sign in is incorrect. 

Resolution 

Solution 1: Check your email and password are correct.

Confirm your email address and password are entered correctly. If the email address and password combination is correct go to solution 2.  

Solution 2: Reset your password

  1. Select Forgot your password.
  2. Enter your email address. 
  3. Select from one of the two options
    • Answer my security question: Provide the answer to the security question you chose when creating your profile. 
    • Email me to reset my password: An email will be sent with a link to reset your password. 
  4. Select Continue.
