SendPro Enterprise version 8.54.1 Release Notes (March 1, 2023)

Note: Some changes affect all SendPro Enterprise users, while other changes affect licensed users only. If you are a subscriber, your SendPro Enterprise is hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud with the address https://name.sendproenterprise.com, where "name" is your organization's unique value. If you are a licensed user, your SendPro Enterprise is not hosted in the Pitney Bowes cloud.

Carrier Changes

The following carrier changes have been implemented for SendPro Enterprise:

UPS Freight API. Updated onboarding wizard behavior.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The UPS Freight API onboarding wizard has been updated to allow for the Access License Number to be entered. This information is required when onboarding this carrier.

APC Postal Logistics. Connector issue fixed.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Resolved an issue whereby an incorrect item value was being passed in the Carrier Request. The correct item value will now be passed.

FedEx Web Services. Resolved Open Shipping General Failure error.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

An issue was resolved whereby the FedEx CreateOpenShipment request would error when Delivery Confirmation was requested for a multipack shipment. The updated behavior will now correctly inform FexEx when this option is requested.

Other Changes

The following other changes have been implemented in SendPro Enterprise:

Carrier Onboarding. External System Code issue fixed.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

Resolved an issue whereby a carrier's previously configured External System Code was removed if a new carrier onboarding request was performed that did not contain the code. Existing values will now be retained when a carrier onboarding request is performed.

Certified Mail App. Updated Address Snippet behavior.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The Certified Mail App has been amended to correctly map the Ship From address Locale (Address2) and Other (Address3) fields to the Address Validation request.

Logistics Server. Updates to ShipmentGet Request.

Affects licensed SendPro Enterprise users only.

New elements have been added to the ShipmentGet Request:

RateTypeFilterBy

Valid values:

• 0 - System Defined: uses current behavior
• 1 - Display Rate Type: return charges for the rate type configured as the display rate type
• 2 - Update Rate Type: return charges for the rate type configured as the update rate type
• 3 - Specific Rate Type: return charges for the rate type specified in the RateTypeID element

RateTypeID

Valid values: integer corresponding to RateType configured for the carrier.

Note: both new elements are optional and if not provided the behavior is as per the current implementation.

Desktop Shipping App. Updated Show Carrier Snippet.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

Updated behavior when ShipTo Residential checkbox is checked. Clicking 'OK' on the popup warning for the carrier service selected should now update for residential accordingly.

Data Management App. Updated export behavior when no records were found.

Affects all SendPro Enterprise users.

The export process will now function as follows when no records are found to export for the requested data type:

Local Export > a ZIP file will be produced containing:

1. An empty file. File name unchanged: for example: CostCenter_20230214 130430.csv
2. Create a text file
   • Content: 0 rows found to export for {entity}
   • File name: {entity}_{dateTime}_ReadMe.txt, for example: CostCenter_20230214 130430_ReadMe.txt

SFTP/Dropbox > Files produced:

1. An empty file. File name unchanged: for example: CostCenter_20230214 130430.csv
2. Create a text file
   • Content: 0 rows found to export for {entity}
   • File name: {entity}_{dateTime}_ReadMe.txt, for example: CostCenter_20230214 130430_ReadMe.txt
