Scheduling automatic database backups in Business Manager

You can create a task to perform automatic backups of the Business Manager database.

1. Open Business Manager Administrator and sign in.
2. Select Parameters > Configuration > Task Scheduler.
3. For Select a task, select Schedule Backup for Working database.
4. Select Browse and select a path for the backup. Pitney Bowes recommends using an external location for the database backups for disaster recovery.
5. Select a repetition type and time.
6. Select Add Task.
7. Repeat for the following tasks:
   • Schedule Backup for Consolidation database
   • Schedule Backup for Archiving database
   • Schedule Backup for Host to Host archive database
8. Select Confirm.
