PrecisionTrack did not generate the Intelligent Mail Barcodes (IMBs) in TrackMyMail
If PrecisionTrack did not generate the Intelligent Mail Barcodes (IMBs), it may be because the application no longer works with Java. Java needs to be replaced with OpenJDK.

PrecisionTrack did not generate the Intelligent Mail Barcodes (IMBs)
Cause
The application no longer works with Java. Java needs to be replaced with OpenJDK.
Resolution
- Go to the Adoptium download website for latest JDK 8.
- Select the MSI download option for Windows x64 or x32 based on your Windows version.
- Install the downloaded software.
- Go to the OpenWebStart download website.
- Select Windows x64 or x32 based on your Windows version.
- Install OpenWebStart.
- In the Windows search box, search for OpenWebStart Settings and select the OpenWebStart Settings app.
- Select JVM Manager > Find Local.
- Select Settings. Change the update strategy to Do not download any version and select OK.
- Select Updates and uncheck Check automatically for updates.
- Change the Update strategy for app launches to Never.
- Select Apply > OK.
- Sign in to your TrackMyMail account and download PrecisionTrack.
- Launch PrecisionTrack and attempt to process your file.
- When opening the PrecisionTrackClientForTMM.jnlp, select JSR-56 (OpenWebStart) if prompted. Do not select Java.
- If you selected the wrong option and need to change it:
- Download PrecisionTrackClientForTMM.jnlp again but do not run it.
- Go to your downloads folder.
- Right-click on PrecisionTrackClientForTMM.jnlp and select Open with > Choose another app.
- Select JSR-56 and check Always use this app to open .jnlp files.
