Reprint from PlanetPress on RISO printer comes out blank or missing text

If a reprint from PlanetPress on RISO printer comes out blank or missing text, select Print as Image when reprinting.

Issue

When reprinting to a RISO printer, the document comes out blank or missing text, even though the PDF shows all the information.

Cause

The printer is only receiving part of the data from the software.

Resolution

When reprinting the PDF, select Print as Image. This will send the printer an image of the data on the file. Note that it may take longer to print than normal.

  • In FoxPDF, Print As Image is a checkbox next to the printer selection.
  • In Adobe, Print As Image is under the Advanced button.
