Importing an address using your mobile device camera in the PitneyShip mobile app

Learn how to import an address using your mobile device camera.

You can use your mobile device camera to scan an address and import it into your address book in the PitneyShip mobile app.

From the PitneyShip mobile app Home screen:

  1. Tap More > Address Book.
  2. Tap the Add New Contact icon.
    Add contact button
  3.  Tap the camera icon.
  4. If prompted, tap OK to allow PitneyShip to access your device camera.
  5. Align the text within the grid and tap the capture button.
  6. Tap the Preview button to preview the address.
