Adding a custom package type in PitneyShip, PitneyShip Pro, or PitneyShip Enterprise

You can create custom package types to save certain dimensions and weight combinations. These types can be used later to save time when printing shipping labels with the same dimensions and weight. These package types are listed on the Type menu when creating shipping labels.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

1. Select Settings > My Packaging.
2. Select +Add Package.
3. Enter a name for the package type in the Package Name field. There is a limit of 20 characters.
4. If you want to include the carrier, select it from the Select Carrier menu.
5. Enter the dimensions and weight.
6. To make this package type visible only to you (not shared), select Private.
7. Select Save and Close or Save and Add Another.

Your custom package types are listed on the Type menu along with the standard package types when creating shipping labels.
