Measuring a package in the PitneyShip mobile app for iOS

You can use your device's camera to measure the dimensions of a package in the PitneyShip mobile app.

1. Tap Ship.
2. Tap My Packaging > Box.
3. On the package size screen, tap Measure package.
   
4. If prompted to allow the PitneyShip mobile app to access to your camera, allow it.
5. Tap OK to close the instructions screen.
6. Place the package on a flat surface in a well-lit area with a contrasting background.
7. Point your device's camera at the package.
8. First, measure the length:
   1. Point the target at one corner of the length edge and press and hold the camera shutter button.
   2. Move the target along the length edge to the other corner and release the shutter button.
      
9. Next, measure the width:
   1. Point the target at one corner of the width edge and press and hold the shutter button.
   2. Move the target along the width edge to the other corner and release the shutter button.
      
10. Finally, measure the height:
    1. Point the target at one corner of the height edge and press and hold the shutter button.
    2. Move the target along the height edge to the other corner and release the shutter button.
       
11. Tap OK to accept the dimensions.
12. Enter the weight and tap Continue.
13. Complete the label as usual.
