SendPro Mailstation frozen at "Please wait while we prepare your device"
If your SendPro Mailstation freezes at "Please wait while we prepare your device," follow these steps to resolve the issue.
Products affected: SendPro® Mailstation, SendPro® Mailstation LITE (HZ0L)
Issue
Your device is frozen on the message "Please wait while we prepare your device"
Cause
Internal error
Resolution
Allow the device up to 10 minutes on the frozen screen before attempting troubleshooting.
Try these solutions in order.
Solution 1: Reset the device
- Disconnect the power cord and all USB cables from the back of the machine.
- Wait ten seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in firmly and reconnect the USB cables.
- Tap the power button.
If your device freezes on that screen again, go to the next step.
Solution 2: Check the power button lamp color
Refer to Flashing power button on the SendPro Mailstation.
If your device freezes on that screen again, go to the next step.
Solution 3: Connect an Ethernet cable
- Tap Settings.
- Connect the device using an available Ethernet connection (if you were using wireless, this is only temporary until the unit is restored).
- Plug the power cord back in firmly.
- (Optional) Once the issue is resolved, device can be put back on a wireless connection.
