The weight is stuck at 1.0 ounce on the SendPro Mailstation

Issue

The device displays the default weight of 1.0 oz when you place a heavier letter on the scale.

Cause

Internal error

Resolution

Try these solutions in order:

• Ensure there are no other devices plugged into the device's USB ports
• Check there is nothing placed near the device that could cause vibrations, such as a fan blowing air
• Zero the scale
• Connect the scale to a different USB port
• Restart the device
• Hard reboot the device

Zero the scale

1. Remove any items from the scale.
2. Tap Weight.
3. Tap Zero Scale.

1. Tap the back arrow
2. Weigh the mail piece again

If the issue is not resolved:

Try connecting the scale to a different USB port

If the issue is not resolved:

Restart the device

1. Hold the power button until the screen displays "Shutting Down."
2. Once off wait 5 seconds.
3. Tap the power button.

If the issue is not resolved:

Hard-reboot the device

1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the machine.
2. Wait ten seconds.
3. Plug the cord back in firmly.
4. Tap the power button
