Creating a Requisition in the SendPro Enterprise Desktop App
Learn how to create a requisition in the SendPro Enterprise Desktop App. This is used when the mail center will be responsible for selecting the carrier and service.

- From the Desktop App landing page, click Create Requisition.
- The Ship From tab defaults to the current user’s information. If the requisition is being created for a different sender, change the sender using one of the following methods:
- Manually overwrite the existing values. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).
- Search:
- Click the Magnifying Glass icon to the right of the From field.
- Enter a search phrase in the box.
- If needed, use the drop-down menu to change the address book to search.
- Click Search.
- Select the desired sender record and click Select.
- Complete the Ship To tab using one of the following methods:
- Enter manually:
- Type the ship to information in the provided fields. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).
- (Optional) To save the address in the address book, check Save as new address book entry.
- Select from Address Book:
- Click the Address Book icon to the right of the Attention field.
- If desired, enter a search phrase in the Search for a contact box.
- If needed, use the drop-down menu to the right of the Search button to change the address book to search.
- Click Search.
- Select the desired Ship To address and click OK.
- Select from History:
- Click the History icon to the right of the Address Book icon.
- Select the desired address.
- Click Select.
- (Optional) Complete any of the following addressing components in the right panel. Each may be accessed via the down arrow in the upper right corner of the right panel.
- Importer of Record (International Only): Details of the entity responsible for Customs compliance.
- Alt. Return Address: The return address which will be printed on the carrier label.
- Ultimate Consignee (not in use): The actual intended recipient of a shipment, other than the agent or bank to whom it is originally consigned for collection purposes.
- Freight Forwarder (not in use): The address and phone number of the Freight Forwarder, if used.
- Click Next.
- If a scale is attached, click the WEIGH button on the Contents form. If no scale is attached, enter the weight into the fields provided. If the exact weight is not known, enter an approximation.
- Complete the remainder of the Contents form. Note that the shipment destination (international or domestic) may significantly influence what information must be provided.
- (Optional) To add Package Content Detail, click the ADD ROW button to create an empty row, then fill in the package contents details in the fields provided, or use the Product Lookup:
- Click LOOKUP in the Product Lookup column.
- Enter a search value and click Search.
- Select the desired product record. Product details will be displayed.
- Modify the values if needed, then click OK.
- Repeat for each item in the package.
- Click Next.
- On the Billing form, select the Bill To options:
- The default Bill To is Prepaid/Sender. To use this billing setting, do not change anything on the Bill To tab.
- For Recipient/Third Party/Consignee Billing, select the desired billing method from the Payer Type drop-down menu and complete the Bill To tab with the required billing address information and carrier account number.
- (Optional) Select the Chargeback options by either entering a valid code in the fields provided, or by searching:
- Click the Magnifying Glass to display the search tool.
- Enter a search value and click Search.
- Select the desired record and click Select.
- Complete the Additional Information tab as needed.
- Click Next.
- (Optional) To save the requisition as a favorite for future recall, enter meaningful values in the Favorite Name and Favorite Description fields then check Save Favorite.
- (Optional) To create an identical requisition, check Process another shipment of the same type.
- Click Print.
- Securely attach the printed form to package.
