Creating a job on the DI500 and DI600

Learn how to create a job on the DI500 and DI600.

Follow these steps to create a job on the DI500/DI600:
  1. Make sure you know the details about all items in the job (envelope size, number of sheets to be folded, fold type, etc)
  2. Press Menu
  3. Select Supervisor Functions
  4. Enter code 71
  5. Select Create Job
  6. Select Job Settings
  7. Select the appropriate settings for your job from the following options:
  • Note: The selections you make for a setting and the options installed on your system determine the availability of job settings. As a result, some of the settings in the following list might not display on your system.
    1. Does this job use an outer Envelope
      • Yes  - Creates a job to be folded and Inserted
      • No - Fold Only (If not using an outer envelope, go step h)
    2. Select the depth of the Outer Envelope
      • 105 mm # 10
      • 152mm 6x91/2
      • Custom
    3. Does the Outer envelope have a window
      • Yes
      • No
    4. Seal Outer Envelope
      • Seal
      • Safe Seal (A reduced speed sealing option)
      • No Seal
    5. What does the job contain

    6. Select the length of the longest Sheet

    7. Is Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) used in this job

    8. Select desired Fold Type
      • C Fold

    9. Select the position of the address on the First Sheet Stack

    10. Does your first stack of sheets contain pre-collated sets

    11. Select the number of sheets in the pre-collated set
