Issue

After changing the Windows user's password, the PlanetPress job does not complete and the error message "W3001 : Error while executing plugin: Socket Error # 10061 Connection refused" appears in the PlanetPress log.

Cause

The server connection service needs to be updated with the new password and restarted.

Resolution

  1. Press Windows + r or select Start > Run.
  2. Type services.msc and select OK.
  3. Right-click on OL Connect_Server, PlanetPress Connect Server or PlanetPress Connect MariaDB Server (varies depending on the version of PlanetPress Connect) and select Properties.
  4. Select the Log On tab.
  5. Enter the new password and select OK.
  6. Right-click on OL Connect_Server, PlanetPress Connect Server or PlanetPress Connect MariaDB Server and select Start.
  7. Try running the job again.
