In Q4 ‘23, Amazon shared Amazon Logistics’ historical parcel volume with WSJ. It’s the first time Amazon talked about their parcel volume. We aligned Shipping Index historical data with volumes shared by Amazon resulting in the following changes:

• 2020: with adjustment to Amazon Logistics, overall US parcel volume changed from 20.5B to 19.5B 
• 2021: no changes 
• 2022: parcel volume changes from 21.2B to 21.54B, resulting in -0.8% decline, a change from -2% decline reported in 2022 Shipping Index
