Uninstalling DeviceHub in PitneyShip Pro

DeviceHub may need to be uninstalled and reinstalled to fix some printing and weighing issues in PitneyShip Pro.

DeviceHub may need to be uninstalled and reinstalled to fix some printing and weighing issues in PitneyShip Pro.

The features and options you see may vary depending upon your role and subscription. If you have any questions regarding your permissions, please contact your administrator.

Windows

  1. If DeviceHub is currently running, right-click on the DeviceHub icon in the system tray (small icons near the clock) and select Exit.

  2. Click Windows Start button and look for DeviceHub in the list shown.
  3. Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall or use the dedicated Uninstall button.

  4. Change View by: to Small icons.
  5. Open Programs and Features.
  6. Select DeviceHub.
  7. Click Uninstall.
  8. On the Uninstalling DeviceHub screen, click Uninstall.
  9. Once DeviceHub has been uninstalled, click Finish.
  10. Press Windows Key+R. or navigate using Windows explorer to the below directory.
  11. Type C:\ProgramData and click OK.
  12. Delete the entire PB folder found in this directory.

Mac

  1. Right-click on the DeviceHub icon in your system tray and select Exit.
  2. Press Shift+Command+A on your keyboard to open the Applications folder.
  3. Right-click on the DeviceHub file and choose Move to Trash.
  4. Press Shift+Command+C to open the hard disk directory.
  5. Expand the Macintosh HD folder.
  6. Expand the Users folder.
  7. Expand the folder appropriate for your Mac’s Username.
  8. Delete the PB folder.
