Setting up Tenant Onboarding in Smart Access Management

Adding a role
- Select Settings > Roles.
- Select Add Subscription Role.
- Add Tenant to the Display Name field.
- In the SAM Features tab, untick the Register Kiosk, Add and Delete kiosk tablet, Manage tenants and Manage Location AD boxes.
- In the Admin tab, untick the Add, modify and delete users tick box.
- In the Common tab, untick the View roles tick box.
- Select Save and Close.
Adding a location
Important: You need to create a location for the building owner such as Facilities Management or parent company and also for each tenant that will use the device.
- Select Settings > Divisions and Locations.
- Expand the Default Division menu.
- Select + Add Location.
- Complete the Name and Company fields. These fields should contain the same information.
- Complete the Address Line 1, Zip Code and City, Town, Area fields.
- Select Save Location.
- In the Inbound Site Framework tab, select Add Site. This needs to be done for each tenant.
- Add a Site Name and select a location that you just created.
- Select Save and Close.
Adding a tablet
- Select Settings > Product Registration.
- Select the location for the Facilities Management or parent company from the Location menu.
- Select Add Product.
- Give the tablet name and enter the tablet serial number. Repeat this process for all the tablets you have.
Adding a tenant
- Select Settings > Tenant Onboarding.
- Select Add Tenant.
- Complete the Name field.
- Select the tenant from the Location menu.
- Select all the tablets from the Tenant Devices menu
Repeat this process for all the tenants you have.
Adding a user
- Select Settings > Users.
- Select Add User.
- Complete the name and email fields.
- Set the Admin Access Level to Location.
- Select the tenant the user will be associated with in the Location menu.
- From the Assign Roles menu, select the Tenant role.
- From the Select Location menu, select the tenant.
- Select Save and Close.
Repeat this process for all the tenants you have.
Customising the kiosk layout
- Select Settings > Kiosk Layout.
- From the Location menu, select the tenant.
- Click Browse to import a logo to appear on the welcome page, screen headers and visitor labels, if applicable.
- The logo's recommended height is 250 pixels.
- File extensions allowed are png, jpg, GIF and jpeg.
- The maximum upload file size is 5 MB.
- Click Save changes to confirm the layout.
Configuring kiosk workflows
- Select Settings > Kiosk Workflows.
- Select Add Visitor Type.
- Add the visitor type you want to add in the Visitor Type field.
- Add the visitor type in the Display Name field. This is how it will appear on the tablet screen.
- Use the Location menu to select the tenant who is hosting the visitor.
- Configure the Kiosk workflow. See Adding a Visitor Type.
- Select Save.
Adding a Site
- Select Settings > Access Sites.
- From the Location menu, select the tenant.
- Select Add Visitor Site.
- From the Location / site list, select the site you created in the Adding a Location instructions.
- Select the Assign Kiosk Tablets menu and select all the tablets.
- Select the Visitor Types menu and then select the visitor type(s) required.
- Select Save.
