"Low Battery" or "Urgent" message on the DM110i, DM160i and DM220i
One of the two internal batteries is running low and approaching the end of life.

Issue
The message "Low Battery" or "URGENT" appears.
Cause
One of the two internal batteries is running low and approaching the end of life.
Resolution
Pressing Clear / Back may clear the message and allow you to run mail.
The battery is part of the franking machine security device that protects your postage funds. Should your battery expire, we will need you to return your franking machine to recover your unused postage funds.
