Printing a test pattern on the DM110i, DM160i, DM220i

Print a test pattern to see if the printhead is working properly or if you have enough ink in the cartridge.

1. Press Options.
2. Press Page Down twice.
3. Select Advanced Features.
4. Select Maintenance mode.
5. Select Printer maintenance.
6. Select Test Print.
7. Insert an envelope to print the test pattern.
8. Test pattern OK? appears. If the test pattern is good quality, with no broken lines, press Yes. The PM Maintenance menu appears.
   
9. If the test pattern is poor quality, with broken lines or smears in the pattern, or if there is no print at all, press No. The franking machine performs a purge. When complete, the franking machine prompts you to perform another test print. Repeat this process up to three times.
    
10. Press Home to return to the Home screen.
