Setting up a wired LAN connection on the DM60
You can connect your DM60 franking machine via wired LAN or a wireless (Wi-Fi) network. Follow the steps below for the device that you have.
SmartLink™:
Visit the SmartLink Setup Instructions page and follow the instructions to connect your franking machine through a wired LAN connection or Wi-Fi using the Pitney Bowes SmartLink Device.
Pitney Bowes Communication Device:
Use the Communication Device Setup Guide and follow the instructions to connect your franking machine through a wired LAN connection or Wi-Fi using the Pitney Bowes Communication Device.
Important: On Page 12: "Ports and protocols needed by the Connectivity Device": Port 443 (HTTPs) should only be used with a DM60 (K722).
If you are unable to connect to the internet, ask your IT department or internet provider to check the internet settings.
