"Low Battery" or "Battery Urgent" message on the DM60

Issue

The "Low Battery" or "Battery Urgent" message appears and the franking machine may not print.

Cause

The internal battery is close to the end of its life.

Resolution

Press Clear/Back to clear the message. Once you clear the message, you can run mail.

The battery is part of the franking machine security device that protects your postage funds. Should your battery expire, we will need you to return your franking machine to recover your unused postage funds.
