SendSuite Live version 7.37.00 Release Notes (February 15, 2021)

HEADLINE ENHANCEMENTS

This section describes the major new features or enhancements that are included in this release.

International Shipping. Added New ECCN/EAR99 Element to International Documents.

To align with US governmental guidelines, shipments destined to China, Russia or Venezuela now include an ECCN or EAR99 for each line item on the Commercial Invoice or a Shipper’s Letter of Instruction. Note that:

• ECCN: An Export Control Classification Number used to classify goods, technology and software to determine whether an export license is required.
• EAR99: Indicates that a particular item is subject to the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), but not listed with a specific ECCN on the Commercial Control List (CCL).

In support, the GetInternationalReport stored procedure has been amended to add ECCN/EAR99 to the description of each line item, where the ECCN value is not null, for both the Commercial Invoice and Shipper’s Letter of Instruction.

SendSuite Live. Updates to Carrier Tracking URLs

To align with carrier tracking changes, the tracking URLs of the following carriers have been updated:

• UPS API
• DHL XML-PI
• UPS Mail Innovations
• UPS Consolidated
• UPS Consolidated UK
• UPS Freight API
• UPS Freight
• DHL eCommerce API

In support, updated the Generation 2 project templates SendSuite Live View and SendSuite Live United View to pass requests via Shipment Server before they are sent to the carrier tracking portal. This is for enhanced security when handling credentials.
