Issue

When shipping DHL International API, the following error is being returned from DHL API in the carrier response:
 
Code = 152 Message = Shipment Details segment Contents Conditional Required Error

Cause

The Content Description is not filled in.

Resolution

Add the Content Description to the international shipment in the shipping project.

Note: The Line item description is also required.
  • For Mailroom generation 1 projects: The Content Description field not included by default. To have it added, contact Pitney Bowes software support. Fees for customization may apply.
  • For Mailroom generation 2 & 3 projects: The default location for the Content Description is on the same line as weight and dimensions.
  • For Ship generation 1 projects: The default location for the Content Description is under Enter LTL Details.
