Configuring Internet Explorer for SendSuite Live
Learn how to configure Internet Explorer for SendSuite Live.
Products affected: SendSuite® Live
- Open Internet Explorer 32-bit version.
- Make sure that the menu bar is visible.
- Select Tools from the menu bar (SendSuite® Live plugins will not appear under the gear in the top right corner).
- Select Tools > Internet Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Select Local Intranet.
- Select Sites.
- Select Advanced.
- In the Add this website to the zone box, enter the SendSuite Live server address (example: http://<servername>).
- Select Add. The website will now be in the Websites box.
- Select Close.
- Select OK.
- On the Security tab, select Custom Level.
- Scroll down until you see ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
- Select Enable for all of the following:
- Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt
- Allow Scriptlets
- Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls
- Binary and script behaviors
- Download unsigned ActiveX controls
- Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
- Only allow approved domains to use ActiveX without prompt
- Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
- Run antimalware software on ActiveX controls
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting*
- Select OK.
- Select the General tab.
- Under Browsing history, select Delete.
- Select only the following boxes:
- Temporary Internet files and website files
- Cookies and website data
- History
- Download history (optional)
- Form data (optional)
- Passwords (optional)
- Tracking Protection, ActiveX filtering and Do Not Track (optional)
- Select Delete.
- Select OK to close the Internet Options.
- In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Compatibility View Settings.
- If you are already on the SendSuite Live Projects Page, the server address should already be entered in the Add this website box. If you are not on the SendSuite Live Projects Page, enter the server address into the Add this website box.
- Select Add.
- Select Close.
- Close Internet Explorer and reopen it.
