Adding a Tax ID Number for UPS international shipping in SendSuite Live

Learn how to add a Tax ID (EIN/VAT) Number for international shipping in SendSuite Live for carrier UPS.
Products affected: SendSuite® Live
The Tax ID number (EIN/VAT) must be entered into both SendSuite® Live and Progistics Management Console.

First, enter the Tax ID number (EIN/VAT) in SendSuite Live:
  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. Select SendSuite Live Shipping Administrator.
  3. Sign in.
  4. Select Shipment Server Configuration > Carriers > International Defaults > Identification Settings.
  5. From the Identifier Type menu, select Employer Identification Number.
  6. Enter the number in the Identifier field.
  7. Select OK to save.

Then add the Tax ID number (EIN/VAT) to Progistics Management Console:
  1. On the Application Server, select Windows Start > All Programs > ConnectShip Progistics.
  2. Right-click on Progistics Management Console and select Run as administrator.
  3. Select Carrier Configuration > UPS Consolidated > Shipper > Account Configuration > General > Shipper Account > EIN/VAT Number.
  4. Save.
