HEADLINE ENHANCEMENTS

This section describes the major new features or enhancements that are included in this release.

Address Validation. Updated USPS Postage (Endicia) Validation Logic.

Address validation via USPS Postage (Endicia) now uses Endicia Label Server (ELS) functionality, replacing the deprecated Dial A Zip (DAZ) service. Also, refer to the XML Schema Changes section of these release notes.

SUPPORT ITEMS

This section contains information about minor changes and corrections. It can include issues raised in previous releases that have been corrected.

UPS API. Corrected Missing Free Domicile Detail on Labels.

Free Domicile detail is now displayed as expected on UPS API labels when operating with Terms of Sale set to DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Previously, labels showed P/P (Pre Paid).

FedEx Web Services. Resolved Handling of Pierbridge Signature Requests.

Pierbridge Signature Requests are now passed as expected when shipping with FedEx Web Services.

FedEx ETD. Added Missing Harmonized Tariff Detail to Commercial Invoices.

When operating with FedEx Electronic Trade Documents (ETD), the Harmonized Tariff Number detail now displays as expected on the ETD Commercial Invoice.

ERR. USPS. Package Status Now Accurately Reported.

Package statuses for ERR shipments are now correctly retrieved.

Hazardous Shipping. Resolved Invalid Values Passed in Requests/

Corrected an error whereby the HazMatQuantity node did not pass valid values in the carrier request.

FedEx SmartPost Server. FedEx SmartPost Web Services. Updated Handling of Dimensions.

Errors no longer present for FedEx SmartPost shipments in which the dimensions (Length, Breadth, Height) are set to 0.

FedEx Server. Corrected Location Issues with Commercial Invoices.

FedEx Commercial Invoices now generate as expected when shipping to South America.

OTHER CHANGES

This section contains information about minor changes and corrections. It can include issues raised in previous releases that have been corrected.

Hazardous Shipping. Resolved Line Items Errors.

An issue has been corrected whereby the Total Quantity field in the line items table didn’t display accurate totals when processing hazardous shipments.

Outputs. German Characters Now Handled Correctly.

German characters are now displayed as expected on shipping labels, where previously they were converted to a question mark "?" icon.

DHL eCommerce API. Corrected Issue with Puerto Rican Shipments

DHL eCommerce API outputs now generate as expected when shipping to Puerto Rico. Previously, shipping documentation was not produced as Puerto Rico was not identified as an international location by ConnectShip.

XML SCHEMA CHANGES

The following XML Schema changes are included in this release.

For Schema Name:

• Pierbridge Address Validation Request

Added the following:

• Added Attention and CompanyName elements for the USPS Postage (Endicia) connector.

For Schema Name:

• Pierbridge Address Validation Response

Removed the following:

• Removed return error code 5 as this is not supported by the carrier.
