HEADLINE ENHANCEMENTS

This section describes the major new features or enhancements that are included in this release.

CanadaPost. Removed Unsupported Carrier Attributes

The unsupported CanadaPost service Delivered Tonight, and the special service Saturday Delivery, have been removed from the product.

ConnectShip. Outputs. PDF Format Now Supported For End Of Day Documents

PDF is now a supported format for End Of Day Manifests when operating with ConnectShip carriers. To account for formatting differences, the carriers MPX, Dicom, Spee-Dee, Eastern Connection, Cardinal Couriers and ICS Courier now have custom manifests to support this feature; these manifests are generated automatically when requesting PDF manifests for these carriers.

Updated SMI with FIPS Compliance

The Serial Meter Interface (SMI) has been updated to be FIPS compliant. Also, refer to the Possible Breaking Changes section.

SUPPORT ITEMS

This section includes items that have been raised via Support and escalated to Development for resolution within this release.

Outputs. Added Address Field Mappings

The third address line is now correctly mapped, and displays on all appropriate outputs.

OTHER CHANGES

This section contains information about minor changes and corrections. It can include issues raised in previous releases that have been corrected.

PB Shipping API – USPS. Resolved Account Number Issue

Resolved an issue whereby the incorrect account number was used during stamp printing. Now, the Payment Account Number is used.

Requests. Improved Treatment of Empty Items

The handling of empty content data for the PierbridgePackItemAddRequest has been improved.

FedEx Server. Updated End of Day Logic

An issue has been corrected whereby performing an end-of-day would also close future FedEx Server shipments. Now, future shipments are not closed until the day of their shipment date.

DHL International API. Resolved Rating Error

An issue has been corrected whereby the DHL International API service Domestic Express would not rate correctly.

POSSIBLE BREAKING CHANGES

• The Serial Meter Interface (SMI) has been updated to be FIPS compliant. It is no longer compatible with Windows XP operating systems.
