Clearing envelopes from the vertical envelope transport on the DI900, DI950, and Relay 5000-8000

Clear any material stalled in the vertical envelope transport section of your inserter.

Products affected: DI900™, DI950™, Relay™ 5000, Relay™ 6000, Relay™ 7000, Relay™ 8000

Follow these steps to clear material from the vertical envelope transport section of your inserter:

Squeeze the two blue handles.
Remove any stalled envelopes. Due to the tight clearance, it is easier to remove envelopes one at a time.
After removing any material, open the door on the back of the high capacity envelope feeder (HCEF) and check for and remove any additional stalled pieces.

Important: If material stalls in this area frequently, adjust the HCEF separator gap.
