Using the accounting feature on the DM50, DM55

Use accounts to charge back postage to departments or clients.

When accounting is enabled on your franking machine, you must select an account before you can print postage.

To turn Accounting on:

1. Press Menu/Options.
2. Press Review (down) until Use Accounting functions? appears.
3. Press Enter/Yes.
4. Press Review (down) until Turn Accounting On? appears.
5. Press Enter/Yes.
6. Press Review (down) until Turn Accounting On? appears.
7. Press Enter/Yes and follow the prompts to either create an account (if this is your first time using the feature), or select an existing account.

To turn Accounting off:

1. Press Menu/Options.
2. Press Review (down) until Use Accounting functions? appears.
3. Press Enter/Yes.
4. Press Review (down) until Turn Accounting Off? appears.
5. Press Enter/Yes.
6. Press Clear / Back to return to the main screen.
